A crash course on non-disney films and studios (sequels not included; list is not exhaustive)
I hate to spoil the fun, but I’m just itching to point out that Chicken run, Walleace & Gromit, and Pirates! Band of Misfits are actually all made by Aardman Animation studios.

For the first time in his eleven years, Harry James Potter got to open proper presents at Christmas, all because Ron Weasley wrote home and told his own parents that Harry wasn’t expecting anything.

500,000 young girls have made videos like this, this is what our media’s representation of women is doing to our daughters.
We focus far too much on beauty and often use the words like pretty and cute to describe female children. We are more than our face, what we see in the media is a continual misrepresentation of our sex that is harming the self esteem of girls as young as 5.
So next time you speak with a young girl compliment her wit, intelligence determination, kind heart or sense of humour. These are the qualities we want to encourage, it doesn’t matter what they look like, true beauty is on the inside.

Wolf Children: Ame & Yuki (おおかみこどもの雨と雪 Ōkami Kodomo no Ame to Yuki), 2012
Director: Mamoru Hosoda
- "Hana is a 19-year-old student who falls in a "fairy-tale like" love with a "wolf man". Over the course of the 13-year story Hana gives birth to two children - Yuki, and Ame, or "Snow and Rain". At first the family quietly lives in the city trying to hide their wolf heritage, but Hana makes the decision to move to a rural town, far from their previous city life, in order to let her children grow up how they choose - as either human or wolf.”
So let’s see
We have Snow White
Like no stop being perfect
And then there’s Mulan
Yeah that makes more sense
AND THEN THERE’S ANNA
Anna is all of us
